Clare was working yesterday afternoon and evening so Georgia and I had to amuse ourselves, we chose to do this by going to see
The Incredibles.
There isn't much I can really add in way of a review that hasn't been said elsewhere, so I won't. What I will say is that no matter who you are or what your taste in films extends to, you will almost certainly enjoy this one, I did and so did Georgia.
We saw the film at Oxfords newest cinema, the
Ozone Multiplex. It is the first time I have been to this one and it was good, I suppose all modern cinemas are much the same but this one score high because there is plenty of free parking and it's only 30 mins from my house.
The only gripe I have is that they don't give you numbered seats when you buy a ticket. If the screening isn't going to be full then it's better to let people sit where they like but on a busy showing they need a little...er.. direction! You get the same behavior as you get on trains and busses; people pay for one seat and use two (or even three) by putting their coats and bags on one (and their popcorn on another...). Despite there being around 30 empty seats when we arrived we got the last two seats that were next to each other.
It also seemed a bit expensive, an adult, a child, some sweeties and a small Coke come to around £15. It's probably in line with elsewhere but it wasn't the same "in my day"
