Back to normality now, it has been a really busy two weeks and I am quite pleased that I can finally get back to the (sort of) routine I'm used too. Last week was particularly tiring, starting work at 8.30 am is fine, unless you need to drive 130 miles to get there each morning then It becomes a real drag. M6 Toll road has been my friend recently, it has saved me from big delays so many times now, well worth the £4 per day to travel on it.
The Six Sigma course last week was excellent, I honestly learnt loads from it and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the course to anyone who has the chance. I realised just how many of the decisions taken by my employer (in the past) were based on statistics that were almost meaningless. I think it was Benjamin Disraeli who is responsible for the "Lies, damn Lies and Statistics" quote, now I get it!
