Mondays, especially the morning part of them, are normally pretty shit but waking up to a sunrise on a crisp clear Autumn day eases you into the week and makes things *almost* bearable.
The weekend didn't go to plan, but it was a good one anyway. Clare was going to Manchester with her family to see
Benny Hinn, but due to illnesses and tickets not arriving on time they had to cancel.
To make up for it, the three of us went to the
Motorshow on Saturday at the
NEC. We had a really good time but it seems that two-year-olds are more interested in running through crowds and eating ice cream than looking at the nice shiny cars.
We spent a lot of time at the
Skoda stand, I never thought the day would come when I was seriously considering driving a Skoda, but it has and (assuming the company sort out their car scheme) I'm going to order
this.
Sunday was spent at a Christening back home near Oxford. The service was excellent and I really enjoyed the whole day, it was nice to see old friends again.
This week is going to be quite busy, I'll be working in Rugby, Birmingham and Crewe so I would appreciate it if everyone could try not to crash or breakdown on the M6, thanks.
