Being the helpful soul that I am, I lent a hand to three stranded motorists on three separate occasions today.
First up was a Jaguar S type which had crashed into a lamp-post and then got stuck in the snow, managed to push him back onto the road with the help of another chap.
Then, round the shops, a BMW 3 series was stuck in the snow on a bit of an incline. Again, a good push (this time with the help of a passing delivery driver) got it in motion.
Lastly we came across a stranded Mercedes which a group of ladies were trying to dig out of the snow, this time I gave some technical advice (keep your front wheels straight if you are trying to get unstuck) and a decent shove to get it free.
What did all of these cars have in common? Rear wheel drive! It's no good in the snow as you don't have enough weight over the driven wheels.
