I've been looking at a Mac Mini, it's not going to happen though because available funds for "non core purchases" are currently not available.

I would like to have some sort of computer at home which would run a browser, how do you go about that without spending? I did have an old (ish) PC in the garage, but that appears to have been taken when a neighbour cleared out the stuff they were storing in there (could have been an accident, or maybe they are theiving gits).

I've had a peek on ebay and I must say that I am quite taken by a "classic" iMac, you know the ones that look like a portable TV with bright plastic edges. Obviously it would be far from "state of the art" but if it could connect to my DSL line and let me look at Google Reader then it would probably be good enough (and it's not Beige). I think I could pick one up for about £20...
