I went out for a ride on my bike this morning with no particular destination in mind. I must have got a little carried away because I ended up cycling from Bicester, through Oxford and on to Abingdon. I'm not sure how far I peddled but I think it must have been about 25 miles or so, not bad going for a fat bloke!

I'm hoping to add a new bike to my collection as soon as my employer sorts out this "cycle 2 work" scheme. The mountain bike is great, but it became quite apparent that a great deal of my energy was being used to turn those big chunky tyres, I need something a little more sleek (like this bad-boy).

I'm feeling pretty good, I have the rest of this week off too so I might try a few more rides.
