We've become a family of keen cyclists recently; Mrs T has bought herself a nice new Mountain Bike from the local
Halfords, it's a full suspension ladies
MTB which was fairly cheap but has decent enough components to make it a promising (and comfortable) bike for cycling around town.
Georgia has finally taken the big step of having the stabilisers removed from her bike, it took a couple of days (and lots of wobbling) but she can ride really well now and can cover a couple of miles without any bother.
And me? Well, I have also purchased a new (to me) bike. I have a 2005 Marin B-17 (just like
this one) and it's awesome! It did belong to my brother, he has become something of a hardcore downhill
MTB rider and has upgraded to a very expensive Giant, so he sold me this one for a very good price considering it had a £600 price-tag when new. I picked it up on Sunday and, although I haven't yet had a chance to really put it through it's paces, I'm getting on with it really well.
