The weekend in Spain went well, no hassle getting there or back on Ryanair and it was really good to see the in-laws again after 8 months.
The weather wasn't great, cold and windy, but they have a nice place over there and plans are being made for an extended visit (or visits) later in the year. Personally, I quite fancy the idea of driving down through France and Northern Spain while eating
all the cheese and drinking
all the wine and sleeping under the stars, if that does happen I think I'll do it alone and collect my girls from some Spanish airport en-route.
We are also making plans for a brief visit to Soissons in France and Worms in Germany to check out the graves/memorials to a couple of family members lost in WW1. We may well go around Easter time and will probably be camping, Clare isn't a natural outdoors type so it could be interesting!
There is little in the way of other news at present; work is beginning to get very busy (a good thing) and it looks like I shall soon be dividing my time between projects in Rugby and Milton Keynes (also a good thing).
