My long awaited yearly bonus was paid on Friday, that's a relief and has certainly helped us get back on track with all the bills and such like. I'm still going to do some extra work at the weekends though because I'm determined to build up a buffer of cash to deal with anything unexpected that may come along in the future.

My relationship with money has totally changed in the last few years, I've never been good with cash and I have always had a tendency to spend more than I should (or more than I have...). I can safely say that those days are behind me now, there is absolutely no desire left in me to go on a spending spree. Now, if only I could get Mrs T to think the same way as me...
