So, for the second time I'm camping near the office to save on fuel and the waste of life that is commuting on Motorways.
You know, I think I may have been a little bit spoilt with the weather last week...
My main concern is that it's a bit windy here at the moment, I have taken extra care pegging out and making sure all guy ropes are going to (hopefully) hold fast and there isn't much more I can do really. I've picked what I think is the most sheltered spot, then blocked the tent in on one side with the car, things might get interesting!
It's also colder than last time, could just feel colder because there isn't any sunshine and it's a bit drizzly. I should be OK though, I have plenty of layers I can add if it gets any colder.
I have cooked a meal (of sorts) on the Trangia, and I've had a nice cup of tea! It's 8.20pm right now and the sun is probably going to set soon, hard to tell in this gloom though.
Again, I forgot a few things: Mallet (forgot to buy one), Sleeping mat (ditto) and Towel (got one, just didn't bring it). I can improvise with those!
I may not have all the camping essentials but I do have internet access and an in-tent Bluetooth network... what priorities?
