	Saturday, July 02, 2005 Live8 is on the TV at the moment, I'm also keeping an eye on Flickr for photos tagged with "Live8" - Steve, 4:34 PM, Looks like commuters had a lucky escape when a tunnel collapsed at Gerrards Cross (I bet Gerrard is livid by now!) this week. This is the line I use regularly to commute in to London and I bet it's going to cause problems for me. I think I might drive to Watford and go in from there as it's easy to get to and the train stops right next to the office at Euston. Although I've not been involved in this tunnel project, it's the sort of project I do work on normally so I'll be paying attention to the investigation to see what went wrong with it. - Steve, 1:09 PM, Today I start the last year of my Twenties, so far the day has involved feeling a bit queasy and having a determined headache. I've just booked two nights in Cornwall next month (in the school holidays) for a total of £52, that's pretty good value as there will be 3 of us in the room. It's a family room too and they are quite resonable (I've stayed in them plenty of times recently!). We'll be staying in Plymouth, but it's ideal for going to nicer places like Looe - Steve, 3:15 PM, Sunday, June 26, 2005 I alluded to it in one of the posts below, we have bought a new printer. It's not the most exciting of purchases but we haven't had a printer at home for ages and there are times when it's just useful to have one. It's also sometimes useful to have a scanner and a copier so an all-in-one was the ideal choice for us. We went for the Lexmark x5260 because it's pretty cheap at Â£50 and we don't need a high quality photo printer or anything like that. I'm really happy with it, very easy to use and the quality is pretty good too (although it doesn't always get the colours spot on on colour copies or prints). For Â£50 it's a good buy, nothing flash but handy all the same. - Steve, 11:48 PM, My head is exactly 24", or two foot, in circumference. I know this because I measured it.
