I knew there would be some unpleasant driving conditions today when last nights
shipping forecast mentioned "
Hurricane Force 12" a couple of times. Driving back from Crewe tonight was a real pain, the M6 toll road never does very well when it's raining and there was stacks of standing water, it gave the traction control a bit of a workout.
One thing that really bugs me is the people who put their fog lights on in heavy rain and spray. It might look like fog but it isn't, putting your fog lights on just makes a plume of light that obscures my view of you and makes it almost impossible for me to tell when you brake. I think fog lights should have an audible warning when they are on, they almost never really need to be used.
