Sometimes you just know when someone isn't going to return your call... Like those times when you're trying to leave a message but they are desperate to put the 'phone down, even before they have taken your contact number.

In this case I'm trying to speak to someone at a recruitment agency and it's proving to be a bit of a challenge!

I'm not looking for a new career (at least not at the moment) but I do fancy getting myself a well paid (subjective of course) job at the weekends. The problem with having a job with a salary that gets paid monthly is that you always get the same amount in the bank no matter how busy you are, sometimes it would be great to work harder and earn more cash. No matter how much money you get each month it all gets accounted for and used on those mundane things like bills and rent.

So, I've been thinking that it would be a great idea to work at the weekends for a while and earn some extra cash that can be used where it's needed or put in the bank for future entertainment (like a big holiday next year). Ideally I'd like to do something completely different to my office job and I'm thinking Warehouse/Industrial/Delivery Driver would be right up my street, if I can get fitter by doing it then so much the better.

Of course, this plan would mean that I would be working 7 days a week and this hasn't gone down too well with the current Mrs Turner. I can see her point, she thinks I'll need a break after working all week but to me it feels like doing something totally different is a break.

The facts are that as a young (ish) strong (ish) and intelligent (well...) male I should have some pretty good earning potential. I'm not afraid of hard work and it's in my nature to do the best job I can. If they would just return my calls I might get somewhere!
