Looks like commuters had a lucky escape when a tunnel collapsed at Gerrards Cross (I bet Gerrard is livid by now!) this week.

This is the line I use regularly to commute in to London and I bet it's going to cause problems for me. I think I might drive to Watford and go in from there as it's easy to get to and the train stops right next to the office at Euston.

Although I've not been involved in this tunnel project, it's the sort of project I do work on normally so I'll be paying attention to the investigation to see what went wrong with it.
