My in-laws are in Spain at the moment looking for a property to buy in Valencia, they are thinking of selling up and moving out there permanently. I really hope they go for it because I can see the appeal of selling here when the prices are high and retiring to a cheaper place with a better standard of living (and weather!) and a pocket full of change from the sale.

On a purely selfish note I see that Valencia is well serviced by cheap airlines and long weekends in the sun are quite appealing!
