One of the good things about having a young child is that you have an excuse to do all of the things you used to do when you were younger, like arts and crafts!
The plan was a simple one; Clare and Georgia went in to town to buy some wool and then we were going to have a crack at making "pom poms". When they got back they had plenty of brightly coloured balls of wool... and some knitting needles!

Yes, I should have been working on a Six Sigma project, instead I've been trying to learn how to knit! Thankfully they picked up a knitting booklet which shows how to get started and I think I did alright for a beginner!
