As part of the New Years Resolution to get fitter and lose weight (11lbs since the 1st Jan) I thought today was a good day to break out the mountain bike and go for a ride. It took a while to sort it out with lights and get the tyres up to the correct pressure but I got there in the end.
I used to ride 18 miles per day to get to work and back (by choice!) but today I just went for a few miles (3 ish) to get back in to it, I can safely say that I'm not as fit as I used to be!
I'm hoping to get a few miles cycled most evenings, weekends will be easier but I'll see how it goes.
I had forgotten just how uncomfortable the saddle can be when you aren't used to it, I am now officially a "Bad Ass Biker"!
