Firstly: I'm a bit pissed, I haven't drunk a lot but it's had the desired effect. Expect prolonged rambling...
It's been a busy week but it hasn't been a particularly exciting one, plenty of work and a lot more miles traveled. It was quite productive I suppose and this is a good thing but work seems to be losing it's "buzz". I'm sure a change is required but it's hard to give up a steady, safe job with reasonable pay and benefits.
It was Blur that said "modern life is rubbish" (alright, it was an album title...) and this is the whole point; everything is so expensive in this country that it's far to easy to get trapped by a job that just about gets you through life. Who can afford to take a risk and do something they really love doing?
