On Wednesday night I stayed in Nantwich, It's really quite nice there, much nicer than the other large towns in the area. I was staying at The Crown Hotel which, as you can see from the picture on their site, is quite old. I have never stayed somewhere where the floors are not flat! One corner of my room was about 18 inches higher than the others and the angle of the (very steep) stairs changed dramatically as you went up or down them... It made it interesting coming home after a few beers!
