It appears that I may be carrying too much stuff* around with me in my laptop bag. As I was saying my goodbye's this afternoon at a customers office, I hoisted the bag up on to my shoulder whereupon one of the shoulderstrap fastenings gave way sending the bag to the ground with a big bang, the free end of the strap whipped up, hit me in the face and knocked my glasses off!

Smooth!

*The Dell laptop, about an inch of assorted paperwork, a stack of CD-R's, a work catalogue, paper and pens, at least 1 power supply and an IBM thinkpad. All in a standard Dell bag!
