It's been a while since I have done any studying although there have been many occasions when I have
nearly started studying... This year I'm determined to make a start, I'm sure that although I don't feel like I have much spare time at present I will be able to have enough time to myself to get some work done.
I have picked the course already; I will be having a go at
"Certificate in Web Applications Development" from the
Open University. I think it will be just right for what I want to get out of it, I'm not in the IT industry but I do have enough interest in the subject to make this level of course enjoyable and the fact that the Certificate is made up of six individual courses appeals to me.
I want to study primarily for interest rather than any career enhancement, I can't see me ever being an "IT professional" but I can see that the type of skills I would pick by studying this qualification would be a great help in my current role.
The first module starts in October, I'm sure to supply updates as I go along!
