You watch CNN right? Of course you do..

You know when they give the temperatures for cities around the world? (do they call them "forecast highs"? I can't remember) Each time they do it I feel completely empty and lonely, it's strange because the feeling lasts only as long as the they broadcast the temperatures and then I'm back to normal again. I thought it was something to do with the graphical representation of just how vast the world is and just how small the part is that is familiar to me, but I realised tonight that when Fox News does the same thing it has no effect on me at all. I'm thinking now that maybe it's the tune that is played in the background when CNN do it, but I can't remember how it goes at the moment.
I might stay up for a while watching CNN in an attempt to pin down exactly what it is that causes this feeling, on the other hand I have been drinking so I can't really expect to be awake much longer.
