I have a total of five coats or jackets of varying degrees of ming, all of which would keep the rain off my shirt for as long as I would normally plan to stand outside. This morning every single one of them was in the boot of my car, a car that was separated from my front door by 150yds of monsoon.

I must remember to take my coat out of the car with me when I get home from work, even if it isn't raining...

PS - I also have a large umbrella, can you guess where that was?
