e spent part of this afternoon walking in the woods around Jarn Mound, a couple of miles outside Oxford. This is definitely the best time of year for a pleasant stroll in the woods, the colours are really striking in the Autumn. Jarn Mound is a man made hill with about 30 steep (and crooked) concrete steps to the top, it should provide some pretty stunning views of the Spires of Oxford but you do tend to find that the trees get in the way a bit, I'll try again in the winter!
