Why is it that most of the people (particularly the Females) who appear on the videos shown on Classic FM TV are so gorgeous?
I guess that if you wanted to be a "Pop Star" then a prerequisite would be that you had to be pretty good looking, after all, modern chart music isn't much about the music really, it's more of a marketing exercise. Is the same true of modern classical music? (is that an oxymoron?) I doubt it somehow, so what can it be?

Maybe the person playing that Cello in the video isn't actually a musician, maybe they are the music world equivalent of a stunt double. Maybe it's the make-up and the way the video is actually shot... Whatever it is, I think that if you took a random selection of ten [what appear to be] Cello players and compared them to ten "normal people" of the same age etc, then you would find the Cello players much more attractive (this is subjective of course).

Why?
