Seems the recent snowfalls across the country are making the news. Here in Warwickshire we have about an inch (of snow), it's transformed the landscape from pleasant countryside, to something much more special and beautiful.
I just took some time out of the office to walk along a section of the Oxford Canal in Rugby, the canal was frozen over and the whole area was deserted, I might need to do it again before the end of the day.

My little walk ended in something of a comedy moment, I had to walk up a very steep snow/ice covered concrete slope in office shoes (soles with no grip at all). I chose my moment carefully, there were no witnesses to my impression of Bambi in that ice scene.
