It has been a pretty busy couple of weeks. Clare is working in the evenings again, this is good news for our gloomy financial situation but means that we don't get a lot of time together in the week.

My work is going fairly well, I've just had a small pay rise with hope of a more substantial one some time soon. More responsibilities are on their way, this is good news as I feel I have made some real progress in this position and I'm keen to expand my role somewhat.

New company cars are on the cards too, been looking at BMW, Audi and VW recently, Audi A4 is current favourite.

In other news; We are doing very well in our current "not spending any money" plans. Shopping and fuel bills have been cut dramatically, we are still in the shit but it might not be terminal just yet.

For some reason I've not been updating this site much, I'll do something about that starting soon. I need to talk about why you shouldn't catch a train home after serious amounts of drinking...
